A number of Urban Planning offices will be seized this Thursday due to the opening up of the profession in a period with a lot of traffic concerning the regulation of semi-outdoor spaces

The discomfort of citizens caused by the reactions of various business sectors to the prospect of their opening up has now moved to urban planning, as today sees the start of a week of actions and decisions for engineers all over the country.

As was decided in a meeting of the Technical Chamber on Thursday 27, the engineers will symbolically occupy 6 offices in Attica and more around the country. On Wednesday February 2, they will block all TSMEDE offices in the country.

The action already began in Argostoli today, and you can see more at http://kefaloniapress.gr/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17957&Itemid=38.

In a period when urban planning offices are expected to receive more traffic, engineers are protesting against the elimination of minimum fees, saying that these are “the only means whereby we can secure the framework for exercising our profession”, and they will be added to the list of professionals going against the government for the opening up of their professions.
