Winter weather throughout the week

The weather setting will be wintry for this week too, with cloud and rain throughout the country and snow in mountain and lowland areas, while the winds in the Ionian and north Aegean will be at 7-8B.

Monday
Overcast skies around the country with chances of rain in the west. Local rain is expected in the morning in Crete and the Dodecanese. The winds in the Ionian will be southeastern at 6B and in the Aegean northern at 4-6B and locally 7 in the morning. The temperature will increase slightly and in the early morning hours frost will form in the north of the country.

Tuesday
Cloudt and rain are expected in the north Ionian and sporadic storms in the rest of the mainland. Light snowfall in the north and central areas and the winds will be southeastern 6-8B and 9 locally in the Ionian. In the east winds will be northeastern 4-6B and the north Aegean 7B. During the night and early morning hours frost will form in the north of the country.

Wednesday
Local cloud that will lead to sporadic rain will occur around the country. Storms will occur in the west and Peloponnisos, and there will be snowoin the mountains and lowlands of the central and north country. The winds will be southeastern in the west at 6B, northeastern in east at 4-6B and 7B in the north Aegean. The temperature will drop slightly.

Thursday

Again, local cloud and rain, with snow in the central and north of the country. Winds in the west will be southeastern 3-5B, north in the east at 4-6B and 7B in the Aegean.

Friday
Locally strong cloud will occur in the east and sporadic storms along the coasts of the west. Light snowfall will occur in the mountains and some lowland areas of the central and north country. The winds will be southeastern in the west at 4-6B and in the south Aegean up to 7B. The temperature will not change much.
