Rain and a drop in temperature for Thursday

Most parts of the country should expect rain, sporadic storms and a slight drop in temperature. The phenomena will be strong in Thessaly, the eastern mainland, Evia and Sporades.

Cloudy weather, with local rain and sporadic storms, is expected for Attica mainly during midday. Improvement is expected during the night. Winds will be northeastern 3-4 and gradually 5-6B and the temperature will range between 9 and 17C.

Clouds, local rain and temporary storms are also expected in Thessaloniki, on the mountains and mainly during midday. Winds will be eastern at 3-5B, with the temperature ranging from 8 to 16C.

Macedonia and Thrace will have overcast skies with local rainfall and thunderstorms during midday and the afternoon. Winds will be eastern-northeastern at 3-5B and 6 in the afternoon in the east. The temperature will range between 6 and 18C.

The Ionian, Epirus, the western mainland and western Peloponnisos should expect cloudy skies with local rain and sporadic storms mainly in the afternoon. Improvement is expected during the night. Winds will be eastern-northeastern 3-6B, with the temperature reaching 7 to 20C, 3-4 degrees lower in the north.

Similar weather is expected for Thessaly, the eastern mainland, Evia and eastern Peloponnisos. The weather phenomena will probably be intense. Winds will be northeastern at 3-6B and 7 in the south. The temperature will be at 6-18C.

Overcast skies with rainfall and storms are predicted for the Cyclades and Crete too. Winds will be eastern at 4-6B and locally 7 in the night, and the temperature will range from 13 to 21C.

The eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese should expect some local rain and sporadic storms as well, with weather phenomena possibly intensifying in the north. Winds will be eastern at 4-6B and the temperature will reach 10 to 20C.
