Alarms have gone off at the Finance ministry in connection with the strange “disappearance” of a Tax Service employee in the Athens IRS office Athens (covering the Kipseli area).

strange “disappearance” of a Tax Service employee in the Athens IRS
office Athens (covering the Kipseli area).
According to information obtained by protothema.gr, apart from the tax employee, who is being sought by police, also missing is 2 million euro from tax office funds, money that was being handled by the same employee for payments and tax refunds to companies.
Due to the above, the prosecutor ordered the office sealed and the employee’s cabinets to be further investigated in order to look into the 2-million-euro shortfall.
