Cloudy skies and transient rainfall

Tuesday’s weather setting will be autumnal too, with cloud and light rain around the country.

Cloudy skies and transient rain are predicted for Thrace, while the eastern mainland and the Aegean islands should also expect sporadic storms. Local rain and light snowfall on the mainland mountains are expected for the rest of the country.

Temperature will stay at low levels for this time of year, and will range from 2-16C in northern Greece, 7-19C in western Greece, 5-17C in the rest of the mainland regions, 8-12C in the Aegean and 10-15C in the rest of the insular regions.

Overcast skies and periodic rain are expected in Attica, with medium to strong northern winds and the temperature reaching a high of 15C.

Periodically increased cloud with chances of light rain is predicted for Thessaloniki, with variable medium to strong winds and the temperature reaching 16C.

Winds in the Aegean will be northern, medium to strong and locally stormy, while strong winds will blow over the Dodecanese. Ionian winds will be western-northwestern, of weak to medium strength.
