At noon on Saturday, the unfortunate man went to the Champion Marinopoulos supermarket, at Eleftheriou Venizelou and Korinthou Str. in Patra, to do his shopping.
Once he was finished and while on his way to his car, he saw the perpetrators. Without a second thought, he grabbed a piece of wood from his car in order to prevent them.
It was then that the unfortunate man received the cowardly and cold-blooded attack by a robber, who shot him with his gun. A while later he died.
