Temperatures will rise during the weekend

Sunshine will be prevalent throughout the country during the weekend. Northeastern winds will reach 7 on the Beaufort scale.

In Athens, the weather will generally be clear, with brief, localized cloud during the afternoon and evening hours. Weak eastern winds will blow throughout the day, with temporary eastern gusts from 4 to 5 Beaufort. Temperatures will range between 13 and 26 degrees Celsius.

In Thessaloniki, the weather will generally be clear, while cloud and rain will only be expected during the afternoon hours. Temperatures will range from 9 to 26 degrees Celsius.

In the Ionian sea, Epirus, the western mainland and western Peloponnese, the weather will generally be fair, while rains will occur in the highlands during the afternoon. Temperatures will vary from 9 to 27 degrees Celsius.

In Thessaly, the eastern mainland, Evia and eastern Peloponnese, the weather will be mostly clear, while local clouds and rain might occur in the evening. Temperatures will range between 9 and 28 degrees Celsius.

In the Cyclades and Crete, sunshine will be prevalent. Winds will blow northerly-northwesterly, from 4 to 6 on the Beaufort scale, with localized 7s. Temperatures expected are between 13 and 23 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, the weather will generally be cloudy in the afternoon and evening hours, when there will be cloud and rain on the mountains. Winds will blow from the west, between 3 and 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will rise in comparison to Saturday.
