“I am considering withdrawing the LAOS party from parliament”

Speaking on a morning show on ANT1 tv channel in Athens, Wednesday, LAOS party Head, Giorgos Karatzaferis clearly stated his thoughts of removing his party from the Greek parliament so as to “slap the malfunctioning system on the face”. 

Thus, he aims at bringing together the two major political parties -that is, the ruling PASOK and the main opposition New Democracy parties - “so they can agree with each other, confess their mistakes and give a hand to save the country”.

He went on to say he realizes that this way, we might be led to early elections.

At the same time, Karatzaferis estimated that this June is going to be the hardest of many to come, while he also harshly criticized his fellow political leaders, saying, “I see a premier at a loss, ND afraid of playing the game and thus not supporting the government and the Left party in its own universe”.
