While the announcement of the mid-term program comes closer, more and more PASOK congressmen are expressing their dissatisfaction for the PM’s environment. Some do not hesitate to express their impatience for a possible reshuffle in June, before or after the summit.
And the already heavy climate gets even worse with developments such as the economy degradation by Moody’s.
Giorgos Floridis warned once again, attacking the economic team: “I’m displeased that we still do not have the commission on operational status, while things in the current budget are developing, showing us that things are not so good over there”. The former minister said that the progress of the budget is bad: “I’m particularly dismayed that we currently don’t have scientific documentation on the extremely poor performance of the 2011 budget”.
Odiseas Kostantinopoulos on the other hand, returned to the issue of “gardeners”, fiercely criticizing the PM’s environment: “princes who could never have imagined that people could be saying something wrong about them and when they were being spat upon thought that it was raining or tried to shift responsibilities”.
Mimis Androulakis’ intervention to the budget committee was also in bold tons. The historical member of the Left acknowledged the poor selection of consultants. He wondered: “What kind of experts are these? They failed to foresee what’s been happening the past year. We have gone mad by people with scientific competence who led us to disaster”.
Finally, Miltiadis Papaioannou rushed to presage a reshuffle, admitting in turn that some crucial governmental decisions have failed: “There are several Government areas that have not brought the expected results. A reshuffle is part of the political life and there is objective evidence for someone to demand it”.

In this climate, one can expect with great interest the convergence of PASOK’s PG and ministerial council.
