Between the plan and his own MPs

The government is reaching a critical peak as concerns the decision about the long-term plan. If the voting result is not the desired one, the country will have to go to elections.

Waiting for the submission of the plan in Parliament, the government has decided on an informal cabinet meeting, where all those responsible for the Economy will be present, along with the PASOK political council.

This is unfolding after the public letter sent out to the media and the Prime Minister b 16 members of parliament and PASOK, so the governmental front is trying to manoeuvre in order to escape a collision.

For instance, earlier today the secretary of the PASOK Parliamentary Group, Vasilis Exarhos, commented on Vima Fm 99,5 that the midterm plan will be submitted to Parliament as one Article, but not through the super urgent procedure.

The cabinet is going to meet on Wednesday and there are shadows cast from the meeting of the PM with Mr. Juncker and the upcoming meeting of the EU members on June 23rd, as there is a deadline for the long-term plan since it needs to be voted on beforehand.
