Chief public prosecutor Eleni Raikou has ordered the Syntagma “tent” case to be thoroughly investigated and if certain people - that is, mainly tent owners and organizers of the movemet - are found guilty, they are to be charged as if “caught in the act”.

The prosecutor asked for the investigation of the case because the tents remain on the square. For the moment it has to be proven whether there is a crime in the illegal settlement of tents in a public space and if necessary, Raikou is also asking that the ones responsible be prosecuted without a warrant.
