Almost no work was shown to have been carried out in June at the 34 largest tax authorities in the country, which receive about 70% of the total tax revenue.

This is the conclusion of the detailed performance statistics of the largest IRS offices, posted on the Internet by the General Secretariat for Information Systems of the Finance Ministry.

These figures relate to the number of temporary inspections per employee in the interim progress checks and the promotion of intersections.

In terms of the revenue derived, the statistics also indicate the non-compliance of taxpayers, as well as the number of seizures compared to the number of delinquent borrowers.

According to this data, at 28 out of 34 IRS offices, each employee only performed under 1 inspection, while in the rest of the six offices, inspections come up to 1.82 (Office of Chalcis). Also, in 12 of the biggest IRS offices, there have been no checks whatsoever.

The element of non-compliance by taxpayers is interesting enough, since traders do not go to the tax authorities to settle their affairs.

The process of payment of overdue debts and seizures is proceeding slowly, since 33 out of 34 offices exhibit performances below 1% and only in one tax office have there been any seizures relating to delinquent debtors.
