Indignant citizens meet in Syntagma square

The Indignant citizens movement is having a rally in Syntagma square, braving the weather and being present at the world call for indignation. The pulse is strong, while the leading focus in slogans is the prime minister and the government. It should be noted that tonight’s image of the square is not reminiscent of the summer, when participation was huge.

The streets around Syntagma Square are closed, while riot police presence is - so far - unobtrusive. Specifically, Vasilissis Sophia’s and Amalia’s avenues remain closed. There is also a large platform erected, which reportedly will host a concert and other cultural events.

Indignant citizens around the world booked today as the date for rallies, happening in 951 cities and 82 countries around the globe, in order to protest peacefully for “Global change”. In the “United States Global Change” website, the map of the world is presented, on which events from Tanzania to Hawai are marked with red dots, signifying the spots where Indignant rallies will occur.
