35 prominent  foreign journalists are arriving in Greece on Monday as guests of the Greek Delegation of the EC to learn about the issues on which they are informed mainly through international agencies. The team of journalists will consist of 35 persons (10 from Austria, 10 from Finland, 10 from the Netherlands, 3 from Slovakia and 2 from Luxembourg), wo will be accompanied by their leaders and spokesmen of the EU delegations from their countries.

The visit will last from November 7 to 9, 2011, and will be the second one organized by the EU delegation in Greece, as there was another one in September, with 30 German journalists, which received particularly positive feedback both by participants and their Greek interlocutors alike, thus helping to inform the German public opinion.

Journalists participating in the visit will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of the political world and also the social partners, economic operators and opinion makers in our country. They will also meet with their colleagues, press and media representatives, and will exchange views on issues of current importance, such as the political and economic crisis, the memorandum and the new loan agreement.
