“Samaras' letter seen positively, to be evaluated at the Eurogroup meeting”

According to sources, Mr Papademos deems that Samaras' letter was seen positively by the European partners, something he appears to have said during the cabinet meeting which took place on Thursday afternoon.

Papademos expressed his optimism for developments in the near future also connected to the 6th installment based on the meetings he has had lately with EU officials, in Brussels.

Next Monday will be evaluation day for the letter, as it is expected to be closely examined at the Eurogroup meeting.

Confirming a protothema.gr story published yesterday, Papademos asked his ministers to present him with the priorities of each ministry as soon as possible, as he is detecting delays in the realization of governmental work.

This is the main issue that will top the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the governmental committee on Friday.

On Wednesday, Papademos met with PASOK and ND presidents George Papandreou and Antonis Samaras respectively.
