Late on Thursday afternoon, PM Lucas Papademos had a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Tayyip Erdogan
Late on Thursday afternoon, PM Lucas Papademos had a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Tayyip Erdogan.
They agreed that they should continue the approach of recent years to "further strengthen bilateral relations." According to the announcement from Maximos Mansion, they "discussed international developments as well, especially in the southeastern Mediterranean."
At 12pm on Friday, Papademos will meet with LAOS president George Karatzaferis. The PM will inform Karatzaferis on the trip to Brussels, Luxembourg and Frankfurt and his contacts with European leaders and officials.
On Wednesday, Papademos met with Papandreou and Samaras for the same reason. It is yet unclear whether he will do so with the leaders of the parties that are not taking part in the coalition government.
