“The government should be given enough time to complete its task”

Most probably, what LAOS head Yiorgos Karatzaferis meant is that he favours the much-discussed extended tenure of the interim government.

Karatzaferis made the aforementioned statement exiting the premier’s office after a get-together with Lucas Papademos in order to get informed of the results of his talks and meetings in Brussels.

“In my opinion, even if he did not exist as a choice, we would have to make him up as he has a deep knowledge, stance and cooperation with Europe”, said Karatzaferis about Papademos and added that, “Europe is like a fireplace. Far from it you are cold, too close to it you get burned.”
