Thriller with Ephraim’s detention

The Abbot can move - according to the doctor who has examined him- and the deadline for his surrender expires at 16:00pm on Monday, but it is still unclear how Ephraim will react.

At the same time, judicial sources say that the law will be enforced as according to it, even those accused who have  health problems can be jailed, since there is a special care unit inside the prison.

On his part, Ephraim appears to have said that “I am not sorry for myself but for the people behind this plot”.

Already since yesterday, officials from the Greek and the Russian Churches have gone public, claiming that Ephraim is not being treated properly. Furthermore, they are against this arrest warrant, believing that it is indeed a conspiracy against him, and it is more about politics than the Abbot’s actual punishment.
