Due
to the school parade that will be held on Amalias Avenue to celebrate
the national holiday of March 25, traffic arrangements will take effect
on Saturday, March 24, for the central streets of Athens.
Starting from 7:00, stopping and parking will be prohibited and the movement of vehicles will gradually stop in the following avenues, streets and squares:
- throughout V. Amalias
- V. Sofias, between V. Konstantinou and Amalias
- throughout V. Georgiou A'
- throughout Panepistimiou (El. Venizelou)
- Stadiou, between Aiolou and Syntagma square
- throughout V. Olgas
- Syggrou, between Ath. Diakou and Dion. Areopagitou
- throughout Othonos
- throughout Filellinon
Similar traffic interventions will take place in other municipalities of Attica where student parades will be held, while changes will also occur in public transport routes.
