The phenomenon that the same product in our country is sold for more than other EU countries was described as a “scandal” by Evangelos Venizelos.
He stated that he will contact the EU in order for Greece to stop being the victim of intercompany transactions in the euro area.
He also committed himself to supporting the establishment of compensation for consumers who fall into the net of unfair practices and that he will support the “potato movement”. In statements he made on Friday morning, before going to Crete, Evangelos Venizelos spoke of regulations about open shopping centers, an issue which corresponds to the deregulation of opening hours under conditions and depending on specific urban locations.
