Papariga: "No to a coalition with SYRIZA"

Aleka Papariga claimed that "we are moving into a transitional phase during which attempts will be made to change correlations." "They will attempt to prevent the creation of a configuration of change," as she stated.

She urged party members to join the fight to protect the things gained. “We cannot waste time” she said. She asked the voters of PASOK and ND to follow in the struggle.

She warned people not to be misled by what will happen in the near future. She noted however that reversal is maturing within the consciousness of the people. This movement will not be far away from the positions of the party, as she said. “It is a great legacy for the near future that the Communist Party alone fought the battle of projecting an alternative proposal”.

As far as the election outcome of the Communist Party goes, she said that a comprehensive solution will be provided by the central committee. She argued that the party made it through a number encroaching dangers.

As for the SYRIZA proposal, she stated that “ we still insist on saying no to the partnership”. She listed a series of issues that a government must handle (national, economic, privatization). To do this, the party will need to make significant policy changes.
