Special hazardous weather bulletin - Which regions will be most affected by the heat:

-    the Thessaly plains
-    the Sperchios valley with Lamia
-    Kopaida with Thiva, Livadia and Orchomenos
-    Attica and mainly the western suburbs, Menidi, Aspropyrgos, Aigaleo, Peristeri and Nikaia
-    Korinthia
-    Argolis and mainly Argos and Nafplio
-    Astros Kynourias, Leonidio and Sparti


Monday weather

Weather: mild, overcast in the afternoon in the north with chances of storms in the northeast.
Winds: northern 3-6B, expected to reach 8B starting from the west and then to the north.
Temperature: minor drop in Epirus and the Ionian but will remain high in the rest of the country, possibly reaching 43C in the east and southern continental regions. In the island regions it will reach 38-40C.

Instructions for the heatwave:

The ministry of Health issued precautionary instructions for the population, according to which "people with respiratory and cardiovascular conditions and generally individuals sensitive to air pollution should remain indoors and avoid moving in the outdoor environment. Also, these people along with children are advised to avoid strenuous physical exercise that may cause respiratory irritation and lead to respiratory problems."
