All pensions at the end of each month

From now on all pensions will be given to pensioners on the same day.

With a legislation promoted by the Labour ministry, the last business day of each month is set as a common date for the payment of all pensions on a monthly basis. The regulation covers all the main and auxiliary pension funds and dividends of the retirees from the public sector.

Payment of pensions will be made through the Single Payment Authority (IDIKA) and the new measure will commence on 31 January 2013.

This development essentially causes a change in the family planning of those insured in the public sector and IKA, as well as certain other occupational funds, which until now were paid their pensions every ten days of each month. On the other hand, it favors by 2 days the OAEE beneficiaries that get their pension each month and not earlier than the first or second day of the next month.
