Storms and strong winds on Thursday

Weather: intense rainfall and storms in the Ionian, Epirus, the western mainland, western Peloponnisos and at midday in eastern Macedonia, Thrace and the eastern Aegean. Snowfall, locally intense, is expected on the mountains of the western continental parts and the hilly areas of Epirus, western Macedonia and the western mainland.

Winds: southern, up to 8B in the high seas.

Friday

Weather: cloudy, with rainfall starting from the west and spreading throughout the country, and snowfall on the continental mountains and hilly areas in the northwest.

Winds: 5-7B.

Temperature: will drop, mainly in the north.

Saturday

Weather: cloudy, with rainfall and storms mainly in the east and south, snowfall in the west and north.

Winds: northwestern 4 – 6B in the west, variable 5 – 7B in the east and north.

Temperature: will drop significantly, with frost forming in the continental regions during the early morning and night hours.

Sunday

Weather: overcast with rainfall and sleet, snowfall on the mountains, in the hilly areas and possibly in the lowlands of central and northern Greece.

Winds: northwestern 4 – 5B in the west, northern-northeastern 5 – 7B in the east.

Temperature: will drop again, with frost forming in the continental regions during the early morning and night hours.

Monday and Tuesday

Weather: overcast with local rainfall in the east and south, snow in the mountains and hilly areas and chances of storms in the south.

Winds: northern 4 – 7B.

Temperature: will drop even more.
