The Greek Ministries of Finance and Labour are in continuous discussions with troika, to reach an agreement on the new settlement of debts to the tax authorities and social Security Funds.
Labour minister Yannis Vroutsis had a meeting in the ministry of Finance with the Council of Economic Advisers president Panos Tsakloglou and at 2 pm he met troika once again at the Labour ministry.
"If need be we will be here tomorrow and the day after," a senior economic team member said after the meeting.
According to information, the goal is to transfer all debts of those insured in pension funds at IKA until 1/7/2013 and from 2017 have all debts confirmed by the tax authorities, to facilitate the checks by the Finance ministry.
Apparently, the new settings will be included in a legislative act that the Greek government wants to promote as soon as possible. This act will also include a regulation for the operation of system ARIADNE, aiming to save 620 million euros and anti-tax evasion measures in order to save another 80 million euros.
