Seven days after the heavy injuries from the Dutch worker in the hotel where he holidayed with his mother and the delicate neurosurgery he underwent, the little Russian tucked back on surgery for the treatment of his orthopedic injuries.
The orthopedic surgeons will restore the damage caused to the tendon of his left hand - this damage is estimated to be quite manageable. What is not certain yet is how manageable is the restoration on the movement of his lower limbs. Physicians take the child through daily special movement tests to assess the exact size of the damage in his the lower limbs. This will allow them to exactly plan the rehabilitation program for the young patient, especially after his mother’s clear statement that she wants to continue nursing and physiotherapy in Greece.
According to information, as soon as the 12-year-old recovers from the current operation, he will be taken to the Center for Early Intervention and Rehabilitation of "Aglaia Kyriakou", an innovative structure launched just last month with a donation by the Niarchos Foundation and aimed for children with disabilities, mental or communication problems due to an illness or injury.
