Samaras to his ministers: Modestly and simply

What the PM said to the government members when the cameras went off

"I want you to be serious," Samaras advised the cabinet members.

"I also want to congratulate you all. Greeks expect a lot from you, " the Greek Prime Minister told his ministers during the first meeting of the new cabinet.

"We must vindicate the people's expectations," he said and urged the members of the government to put all partisan and personal priorities aside.

Describing the proper code of conduct he told his ministers to "support the government, always answer in parliament, and keep me informed about your plans. Any problem must be dealt with right from the start."

Samaras gave special attention to personal behaviors of ministers and deputy ministers. "I want you to be serious. Few television appearances, avoid theatricalities, act in a modes and simple manner. Be careful with your personal behavior," he said according to information.

Samaras assured his ministers that the government will exhaust the remaining three years and added, "it is not a government for emergency situations."
