Eurozone developments at the heart of the G20 meeting

Fed’s intentions and the plans of the Japanese central bank at the heart of the G2O meeting

The developments in the Eurozone and the U.S. economy are top issues on the agenda of the meeting of finance ministers and central bankers of the G20 in Moscow.

As Vima newspaper and Reuters agency said, what will be of particular importance in the summit is the monetary policy issue, especially Fed's intentions and the plans of the Japanese central bank. Also, officials will discuss the risk for a second round in the financial crisis of the eurozone, if there are no decisions to finance the economy by the ECB.

The current account balance of China will also be an important issue, as slowing the growth in the country has an overall impact on global trade.

The G20 is expected to make recommendations on appropriate measures to increase consumption in China and investment in Germany, that is in economies with surpluses, as well as measures to improve competitiveness in deficit countries.
