Schaeuble blackmailing again with the next tranche

The German finmin says Greece has not fulfilled 5 of the 22 prerequisites

According to statements by German finmin Wolfgang Schaeuble, cited by Bloomberg, Germany threatens to halt the disbursement of the tranche of 2.5 billion euros to Greece.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow's EuroWorking Group meeting for the approval of the tranche, Schaeuble said the Greek government has not implemented 5 of the 22 prerequisites measures.

He admitted that the disbursement of the tranche to Greece has been delayed, blaming the Troika for it, which has not issued a report on the state of the Greek economy.

He added that the German parliament is expected to approve the disbursement of the tranche of 2.5 billion up to July 29.

He also said that the purpose of tomorrow's EuroWorking Group meeting will focus on the progress of the Greek program, which will determine the attitude of the partners for the disbursement of the tranche or not.

The finance ministers of the eurozone decided last week to disburse 3 billion euros to Greece, of which 2.5 billion euros will be given in July and the remaining 500 million in October.

The total amount of the financial aid for Greece until October will reach 6.8 billion euros, as the agreement provides for a 1.8 billion euros tranche from the IMF and the return of a profit of 2 billion euros that Eurozone central banks had from buying Greek bonds.
