Mitsotakis: All ministries will be involved - Greece will fully honor its commitments
The meeting held on Thursday afternoon at Maximos Mansion under Greek PM Antonis Samaras for the planning of the second wave of mobility of public employees has been completed.
As stated by Administrative Reform minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the implementation limit for this second wave is the end of September and will involve all ministries.
Mitsotakis said that the figures of the second wave to reduce the size of the public sector will come from the evaluation of all ministries, which will "lead us to locate redundant positions that will be evaluated on merit-based procedures to join the mobility program. I have said that we must leave behind our horizontal measures and interventions."
Asked whether the period until the end of September is sufficient for Greece to meet its objectives on the mobility program, he said "the time limit is already known and Greece will meet its commitments in full."
