After the electoral triumph of Angela Merkel all eyes turn to the processes that will take place today with the aim of forming a government in Germany.
The staffs of the parties that will participate in the new Parliament meet from this morning in Berlin in order to analyze the election results and determine their attitude in the discussions to form a government.
The interest is now focused on who will be the coalition partner of the Christian Democrats / Christian Socials (CDU / CSU).
Without ensuring political self-reliance the German Chancellor with CDU managed to significantly increase the rate of her party at 41.5%, with the Social Democrats (SPD) reaching 25.7%, Left (Linke) at 8.6% and the Greens (Grüne) at 8.4%.
The Alternative for Germany was removed from the entry limit to get into Parliament, falling to 4.7%, as did the Liberals (FDP) of Philipp Rösler who fell to 4.8% (for the first time in the postwar history of Germany they will be out the Federal Parliament).
The CDU garnered 311 seats and cannot govern independently, while the seats of the opposition parties amounted to 319.
