Photos from the video of the murder of M. Kapelonis and G. Fountoulis - The killer was thin, 1.70 to 1.75 meters tall - Photos and information on the stolen motorcycle
The Greek Police released photos of the man who killed the 22-year-old Manos Kapelonis and 27-year-old George Fountoulis and seriously wounded the 29-year-old Alexandros Gerontas Friday night outside the Golden Dawn offices in Neo Irakleio.
Under the preliminary investigation conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Unit for the murder of the two young men officers released a description and photographs of the two-wheel motorcycle used by the unknown assailants.
As Hellenic Police note about the shooter ‘he is a thin man, 1.70 to 1.75 meters in height, wearing jeans of dark blue colour, white shoes, carried a black backpack on his back and a jockey type hat or white motorcyclist helmet.’
According to police, the motorcycle is a HONDA Africa Twin model, white-black, with red-blue drawings on its white part and was found outside near the Chelidonous stream, which is adjacent to Krestenon street, about 200 meters from the junction with Dekelias street, in Kifissia, Attica.
At the time of it’s finding it did not have state license plates or additional luggage compartments. Also at the tank it had a custom beige leather surface, with indistinctive red-blue colour drawings, while the windscreen had a paper with the number "46" on it.
As the Counter-Terrorism investigation showed it is the No. ZYX-668 two-wheel bike, which was stolen in the early morning of June 28, 2013 from the area of Kallithea in Attica.

‘Would any citizen who has noticed or saw the aforementioned motorcycle, either at the time of the murder, or at an earlier time, both parked and on the move or during the escape of the perpetrators, particularly owners and employees of service stations that were possibly visited for refueling, to communicate with the telephone numbers 1014 and 10414 or ctu@hellenicpolice.gr of the Counter-Terrorism Unit. It should be reminded that the anonymity and privacy of communication is ensured,’ the police statement stresses.
