Government spokesman Simos Kedikoglou reiterated the commitment of the Greek government to protect the socially weak groups regarding the residence auctions.
"We have never done communicative tricks. We are very clear. We will protect the weak groups, the poor and middle households. We will not allow such a change," he said on ANT1 TV.
The Greek government’s aim, he added, is to an reach agreement on the issue of auctions with the Troika, but stressed that the determination of the government to protect the weak "is not doubted."
