1.2% increase in turnover of hotels and restaurants in the third quarter

The turnover index in the services sector for hotels and catering in the third quarter of this year increased by 1,2% compared to the corresponding index for the third quarter of 2012, against a decrease of 11.5% over the corresponding period of 2012 to 2011.

The same index in the third quarter of 2013 compared to the corresponding index of the second quarter of 2013 increased by 75.3% compared to a 82.2% increase in the corresponding period of 2012.

According to EL.STAT. (Hellenic Statistical Authority), this indicator includes hotels, vacation and short stay rentals, campsites, recreational vehicle parks and trailer parks, restaurants and mobile food units, catering services for events and other catering and beverage providing activities.
