Tsipras: Greece is a damaged country

According to the SYRIZA president, “for four years Greece is dematerializing because its leadership chose to make it a guinea pig”

SYRIZA president Alexis Tsipras said Greece is a damaged country in an effort to describe the situation in the European representatives of the Left from Germany and Portugal.

Speaking at an event of the German left-wing party Die Linke in the EU offices in Athens, Tsipras spoke against the Greek bipartisan government and Prime Minister Samaras saying that "for four years now Greece is dematerializing because its leadership chose to use it as a guinea pig, bringing the failed drug of the memoranda."

Among other things, Tsipras said "they left a country in the hands of a butcher and led its people to the slaughterhouse of the memorandum" and accused the government of "giving the latest rearguard fights to hold on to its power."

According to the SYRIZA president the time that his party will take power is here because as he said "Greece is not just turning a page but moves on to a different book."
