Request to waiver the immunity of the rest of the Golden Dawn MPs

They are summoned as suspects for entering and directing a criminal organization

The two female special investigating judges I. Klapa and M. Dimitropoulou have requested the waiver of immunity for the remaining nine Golden Dawn MPs that have not yet been implicated as suspects in the investigation of crimes of entering and heading a criminal organization.

They also request the waiver of immunity for felony possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to supply a criminal organization and specifically for Nikos Michaloliakos (Head of GD, imprisoned), Elias Kasidiaris, Nikos Michos, P. Germenis (imprisoned), Stathis Boukouras (imprisoned) and Yannis Lagos (imprisoned).

Moreover, the investigating judges request the waiver of immunity for the 9 MPs for misdemeanor possession of weapons regarding Nikos Michaloliakos and setting up illegal records for Christos Pappas.

According to judicial sources this development gives new impetus to the investigation as it brings all GD MPs in front of the Greek justice as accused of serious felonies.

If the requests get accepted and the immunity waiver is carried out, it will mark a new round of additional testimonies for the defendant MPs of the GD.
