Public Issue: ND and SYRIZA at 15.5% - "The River" is third at 7%

Unspecified vote is first with 41% - Stavros Theodorakis wins voters from ND (20.5%), SYRIZA (17.5%), Democratic Left (17.5%), PASOK (16%)

The European elections are approaching, but even now things look hazy about which party will win the voters confidence.

According to the Public Issue opinion poll for the “Efimerida ton Syntakton”, New Democracy and SYRIZA are as a tie with 15.5% in the voting intention. The surprise, however, is that The River is found on third place with 7%.

KKE follows with 5% and Golden Dawn with 4.5%, one point more than PASOK that is struggling to survive. The Independent Greeks represent 2.5% of the voters preference, DIMAR reaches 1.5%, while the other parties are at 4%.

However, the situation remains foggy, as the unspecified vote comes first once again with 41%. This figure represents the undecided, those who do not vote, blank and invalid votes.

In the winning performance SYRIZA has a strong lead with 52% compared to 33% of New Democracy.

The data on Stavros Theodorakis voters are of particular interest. The River wins 20.5% from ND, 17.5% from SYRIZA, 17.5% from DIMAR and 16% from PASOK.

The poll was conducted by telephone from 4 to 10 March.
