A new, extreme scenario as far as the fate of flight 370 of Malaysia Airlines goes, has been circulating the past few hours, especially in the American blogosphere. A scenario beyond belief, with big “plot holes”, which has not yet been verified or denied, or even commented upon by big media around the world, nor the governments involved in the search of the fateful Boeing.
According to the scenario, a freelance American journalist called Jim Stone received a photo and a voice message in his email that an apparent occupant of flight 370 recorded from his iPhone 5s. The name of the man is, according to Stone, Phillip Wood, and he is an IBM executive. The passenger, in his audio message, purportedly reveals that a few hours after the takeoff from Kuala Lumpur, it was taken over by terrorists, who had obviously been under military training but bore no distinctive markings. These alleged men led the airplane to a secluded island, hid it in a large hangar and are keeping the passengers hostage. Wood describes how he was able to hide his cellphone in his underwear and activate the voice recorder when he was left alone in a cell. The photograph attached to the message is supposedly sent so that all who receive it can decipher the location of the plane, since its geo-location is included in the data. Mr. Wood's picture is black, but the data depicts everything there is to know about those who are looking for the Boeing.
Specifically, according to the journalist's report, who was the final recipient of the video of a YouTube user codenamed Montagraph, the coordinates that the alleged MH370 passenger sent are the following:
Coordinates :
-7 18 58.3 LATITUDE
72 25 35.6 LONGITUDE

72 25 35.6 LONGITUDE
A simple pairing map shows that these coordinates relate to the isolated island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, where for decades a forward base of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force has been established.
This publication, which is hosted on Intellihub News, besides freelancers' blogs, also hosts several specialist reports who state that there is no way -besides some clandestine service programs- to change geo-location data from photographs. As such, the “black” photograph should bear the correct coordinates.
The questions which arise are, naturally, many. First and foremost is how one could send a message with a cellphone from a military base without being detected, and how the battery of the cellphone could have lasted for so many days without being charged, since the flight was “lost” on the 8th of may, and the message was sent on the 18th!
In any case, this scenario of hostiles boarding and taking over the airplane has already been circulated among different websites. It remains to be seen if this scenario is one of them, or a bad “April Fools” joke, regardless of its publication on the 31st of March.
