On his part, Minister of the Interior Yannis Mihelakis spoke of a strong correlation between SYRIZA and the Golden Dawn parties
SYRIZA parliamentary spokesman Panayiotis Lafazanis asked for immediate elections, in Parliament, while inviting PASOK to withdraw its confidence in the government, in the wake of the revelations by Elias Kasidiaris and Takis Baltakos' resignation.
Mr. Lafazanis argued that “no solution was given to any problem after Baltakos' resignation”, and attributed responsibilities to the Minister of Citizen Protection, the Minister of Justice and the Prime Minister.
On his part, Minister of the Interior Yannis Mihelakis spoke of a strong correlation between SYRIZA and the Golden Dawn parties, underlining that “Mr. Lafazanis simply wanted to create political hubbub, as SYRIZA always does...”.
Meanwhile, tension was created earlier between New Democracy, Golden Dawn and Ind. Greeks parliamentarians during Parliament's Committee on Production and Trade.
The cause for said tension was SYRIZA MP Thanassis Petrakos' statement, who set an issue of order, after Kasidiaris' recording of Baltakos, and implicated Antonis Samaras. ND Members of parliament intervened, joined by Goden Dawn members who started shouting that “Samaras wants to throw us in jail” and “Samaras is a fascist”.
Tensions further increased with Ind. Greeks MP Rachel Makri shouting “You are a junta. You impede justice. You are fascists”.

The Committee chairman Yiorgos Vlahos quickly put things in their place by shutting everyone's microphone off and making firm statements on the matter.
