Papandreou implies the withdrawal of PASOK from the government

He accuses the government of undermining the stability and reliability of the country - Speaks of imperative unity of democratic and progressive forces

George Papandreou talked against the government on the occasion of Baltakos case which he described it as family affairs of the right parties. George Papandreou implied quite directly the withdrawal of PASOK from the government, causing intense discomfort in PASOK offices, since the former prime minister continues with his personal political agenda and the differentiation from the center line of the party. Behind the new intervention of Papandreou many see the insistence of former Prime Minister to undermine the efforts of Evangelos Venizelos in the upcoming European Union elections continuing at the same time to creating unfavorable conditions for the electoral efforts of Elia party.

Former Prime Minister speaks of obvious responsibilities of the government, adding that the removal of the Secretary of the Council of Ministers is not enough and noted that the dominant challenge is the Democracy itself.

He accuses the government of not fighting the main core of the problem but rather adopting and cultivating perceptions and behaviors, which are the cause of the crisis itself. He also asks "How is it possible, with these data the governmental cooperation can work on the benefit of the country and the Greeks?" putting to question the PASOK's stay in government.
