Elliniko: Construction tasks start in 2015, openings in 2017

The administration of HRADF stated during the press conference that the renewed Elliniko will open its doors to the public partially upon the "facelift" which will be performed by the consortium of Lamda Development - Al Mabaar – Fosun.

Thus, the gates of the first complete segment is expected to open in 2017, since the first construction tasks will probably start in 2015.

In 2015, the government estimates to receive the deposit of 300 million euros.

Overall, the 74.3 % of the area will be covered by a metropolitan park and public areas, while the 25.7 % will be allocated for other uses, such as building houses and commercial and recreational uses.

The total building will cover 2,600,000 square meters over three million square metres. which is the allowed building and constructing area, while the total coverage corresponds to 700 acres out of 6,200 acres of land.
