Tricky - Trip hop king is here

Together with Massive Attack, Tricky is one of the leading musicians who opened new paths in music during the 90s.
Tricky, one of the biggest names of the world trip hop scene and also of the musical history of the past two decades, returns to Greece for two concerts: On Friday, April 11 he will preform in Fuzz Live Music Club (Athens) and on Saturday, April 12 in Fix Factory of Sound (Thessaloniki) .
Among the most charismatic personalities of the contemporary music scene, Adrian Thaws was born 46 years ago in Bristol, England. As a producer and musician, he is one of the three most important artists in the global scene of trip hop, along with Massive Attack and Portishead, who has influenced numerous of his contemporary and subsequent artists.
His debut album, "Maxinquaye", was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 1995, while "Blowback" in 2001 gained him world-wide fame. He has collaborated with great names of the international music scene, such as Massive Attack, Red Hot Chili Peppers, PJ Harvey, Bjork, Martina Topley-Bird, Neneh Cherry, Beyonce, Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream), Cyndi Lauper, Alanis Morissette, Ed Kowalczyk (Live), Nneka etc.
With his latest album, "False Idols" (2013), he continues to fascinate his fans with his famous dark, rich and layered sound which combines elements from hip hop to rock with his characteristic - almost whispered - vocals.
It is also noteworthy that, in the upcoming concerts in Greece, he will be accompanied by the singer Francesca Belmonte, who was also featured in Tricky's last album.
This is the fourth time he performs in our country. His previous three concerts took place in Rodon (December 1996), Technopolis (2001) and Fuzz (2008).
