Karolos Papoulias will celebrate in Ioannina – The Prime Minister will be in Pylos, the Opposition leader in Crete - Who will stay in Athens
The holy days of Easter provide a good opportunity for the state and political leadership of the country to take a breather... before entering the final stage of their campaigns for the double elections in May.
The President of the Republic Karolos Papoulias has been to Ioannina for almost a week now, staying at his home in the village Fragades of Zagori region.
The Prime Minister Antonis Samaras will celebrate Easter in his hometown of Pylos, and specifically in Costa Navarino, where he usually spends both the Easter break and his summer holidays. There is also a chance he will visit Nafplio, the birthplace of his wife.
Alexis Tsipras will travel again to southern Crete with his wife and their two children, for a short vacation.
Although his program is still under development, the president of SYRIZA is expected to deliver a speech in the central square of Ierapetra in Chania and he will also visit Rethymno and Sitia.
Deputy Prime Minister and president of PASOK, Evangelos Venizelos will celebrate Easter in Thessaloniki, his hometown. Mr. Venizelos will remain in the city until early next week and then return to Athens and to his heavy schedule before the double elections in May.
