As it was officially announced on Wednesday, the Coastguard will be supplied with six POB-24G patrol vessels by “Montmontaza-Greben d.o.o.” shipbuilding company following a contract signed by Shipping & Aegean Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis and a representative of the company that won an international tender.
The announcement also noted that the purchase of the vessels, worth 13,387,998 euros, is co-financed by the EU External Borders Fund (75%) and national funds (25%).
