Tsaftaris: Greek agricultural exports could reach as high as 30 billion

Greek agricultural exports could reach as high as 30 billion for 2014, according to Rural Development and Food Minister Athanassios Tsaftaris's statements during a conference held on Thursday. He stated that farm and food product exports were the "flagship" of the Greek export sector and added that there will be additional measures instituted to boost these exports further.

Among said measures he listed registers of approved merchants and approved agricultural product sellers, promoting exports and adopting EU directives on exports to third countries.
