Investigations on police involvement on Golden Dawn activities

New investigative field is now ripe for picking

Investigating judges are looking into the involvement of police officers in criminal actions by Golden Dawn, after case evidence sent to their office by Greek Police.

According to information, the two investigators, handling the files for the criminal organization, received a file which allegedly concerns specific police officers' role in the case of the Golden Dawn party, through the Directorate of Interior Affairs of Hellenic Police.

Thus, the investigation of I. Klapa and M. Dimitropoulou is now directed also against police officers who, with acts or omissions, contributed to unlawful activities of the members of the Golden Dawn party.

Moreover, the two judicial officers sent for two more people to account for their involvement in the murder of musician Pavlos Fyssas, against whom there are reportedly enough evidence in their involvement in what happened at Keratsini on the night of September 18th, 2013.
