Rottweiler procures... voting ID to vote in the EU elections

What his owner stated

The owner of an old Rottweiler named Zeus, was called to testify by Cleveland police in the U.K., as part of research being conducted to determine how a dog could acquire...a voting card to vote in the upcoming May elections.

45 year old Russel Hoyle, who works as a security guard, is accused of providing false information to a government official during the census of voters in Norton, Northeastern England, according to local newspaper Evening Gazette.

The accused, however, stated that he only remembers telling the official that apart from him, and living in the house are his wife and "son", who is too young to vote: "Zeus is 63, if we equate his age to human years", he reportedly said.

Police, however, was not convinced and started investigating into the case after the issuance of a voting card in the name of "Zeus Hoyle".

The humorist Rottweiler owner is liable to be punished with a fine or even imprisonment.
