Sunday will roll by with scarce clouds accompanied by rain in the Northwest and the Northeast. Temperatures will remain high and strong southerly winds will be present over water.
In more detail, on Saturday, in the Ionian Sea, Epirus and the Western Mainland, Western Peloponnese and Thrace there will be rain and storms with a steady improvement during the afternoon hours. In the northwestern part of the Aegean, similar phenomenae are to be expected, with a parallel improvement in the evening hours.
Clouds are expected in Macedonia, Thesally and Eastern Mainland, Eastern Peloponnese and the Sporades islands, with brief showers especially until midday. In the Aegean, Cyklades islands, Crete and Dodekanisa there will be overhanging clouds. In the northern part of the Ionian sea, winds will maintain a southwesterly course blowing at 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale and going up to 5 during nighttime. In the northern part of the Aegean the winds will likewise be southwesterly with a potency of 6 to 7 Beaufort but will die down eventually. In central and southwestern parts of the Aegean sea, winds will be between 6 to 7 Beaufort whereas in the southeasterly parts southern winds will reach 5 to 6. Temperatures will reach 18 to 19 degrees Celsius in Northern Greece, 20 to 21 in the West and 23 to 24 in the rest of the country.
