Six IDs and faces revealed to the public

Two people accused in the past of participating in the organisation "Conspiracy of Cores of Fire", a 31-year-old man previously arrested for arson, a 26-year-old woman, as well as two other 26-year-olds, are the individuals in custody according to Chief of Police Mr. Eleutherios Ekonomou.

More specifically, in the entrance of the Kesarias Street apartment in Nea Smyrni, police arrested Alexandros Mitrousias. He was carrying a rucksack in which police found two Glocks, a Scorpion machine gun, a grenade, two mobile phones and 2 USBs.

In Pireaus, George Karagiannidis was arrested with a fake ID. In Exarhi,a at Themistokleous street, Christos Politis 31, was also arrested, in Kallithea, in Platonos street, police apprehended Styliani Antoniou, 26, and in Sitia of Crete, Dimitris Michael, also 26. Of the above, both Alexandros Mitrousias and George Karagiannidis were fugitives from the police.

The 10 people in total who have been arrested since Friday, have been accused in the past by police for participation in terrorist groups, as well as bank robberies, and have been identified as members of the terrorist groups Conspiracy of the Cores of Fire and the Revolutionary Sect.

Sources reveal that two of them had arrest warrants pending and had been "wanted" with a reward that went up to 600,000 euros. It is worth mentioning that the hiding place located in Kesarias street is a few yards away from the residence of one of the persons arrested, Panayiotis Argirou, and eye witnesses refer to "suspicious" individuals coming and going in the block of flats. Sources mention that the number of arrested persons will rise in the next few hours and four District Attorneys are at t the Antiterrorist Service HQ at the moment, about to give out arrest warrants and more information to the press, as well as provide photographs of the suspects.
