For more than a year now the country has been on the verge of catastrophe, with minor pensioners and simple people living in poverty, looking at their small income shrinking even more; however – until last September at least – their sacrifices were the same or bigger than those of the DEKO «penthouses» and other improbable, (supposedly) charitable bodies, organizations and constitutions.

catastrophe, with minor pensioners and simple people living in poverty,
looking at their small income shrinking even more; however – until last
September at least – their sacrifices were the same or bigger than those
of the DEKO «penthouses» and other improbable, (supposedly) charitable bodies, organizations and constitutions.
For example, according to the data from the ministry of Finance, in 9 months (Jan. – Sept. 2010) 68 employees in HEPO shared 2,6mil euros - that is, 38.446 gross (excluding contributions and various other benefits provided for public servants).
This means that each month the taxpayer paid 4.271 euros for each of these employees who "toil" everyday so that our country, a model of competitiveness, can have the exports it has now. Even after the cuts in DEKO, none of them costs less than 1.500 euro per month, 1 in 3 gets 2.785 gross (x14), 47% costs 2.785-3500 gross (x14) and 13 executives (1 in 5) make more than 4.000 per month.
Based on the payrolls for the nine months however, at such times and despite all sorts of cuts, 32.253 euro gross were received by the workers at the port of Igoumenitsa (3.580 per month), 15.805 by the Hellenic Festival (1.750 gross per month) and 29.474 in ELOT (3.270).
ISAP is the champion
And the champion in transportation is ISAP, with total earnings of 35.111 euro (3.900 gross per month), as well as DEPANOM (state hospital constructor) with 33.104 euro, while Hippodrome employees received wages in the amount of 32.111 euro (3.567).
